WinBox 64 Gets a Major Update: What’s New in the Latest Version?

MikroTik’s indispensable configuration utility, WinBox, has just rolled out its latest 64-bit iteration. For network engineers managing RouterOS devices, this update isn't just a minor version bump—it brings critical performance enhancements and usability fixes.

• Command Shortcut: In the new update, pressing Ctrl + Shift + C inside any table copies the contents as CSV (Comma Separated Values). Previously, you could only copy raw text.
• Safe Mode 2.0: The updated client includes a "Safe Mode" indicator that turns the window border bright yellow when you have clicked "Safe Mode." This prevents you from forgetting you are in a rollback state.
• Multiple Language Support: The update improves UTF-8 character handling. You can now name firewall rules using emojis or Chinese characters without garbled text (though maybe don't).
