How do Indian Bhajans come to Switzerland
Some Swiss Sai devotees and musicians dedicate themselves to singing, playing and teaching these Bhajans. For this purpose they have edited books with the transcription from original Indian audio sources of 3 x 108 Bhajans (324 Bhajans) in western music notation.
Why do we sing Bhajans
In 1968 Sathya Sai Baba said: "Sing aloud the glory of God and charge the atmosphere with divine adoration; the clouds will pour the sanctity through rain on the fields; the crops will feed on it and purify and fortify the food; the food will induce divine urges in man. This is the chain of progress. This is the reason why I insist on group singing of the names of the Lord."

One rainy Thursday evening, the café was almost empty save for a handful of regulars hunched over steaming mugs. The bell above the door jingled, announcing the entrance of a figure wrapped in a navy coat, hair slick from the downpour. He shook off droplets on his shoulders and scanned the room before his eyes landed on Liv… on Liv—the girl in the brown hijab who always arranged the pastries with a soft smile. The Power of Kindness: A Spotlight on Positive
Livu’s life was simple but full. By day she attended classes in linguistics, fascinated by how words could build bridges between peoples. By night she worked at a small, family‑run café called “Taman Toge” (the Sprout Garden), a cozy corner where the owner, Pak Budi, served freshly brewed kopi tubruk and a signature snack—crispy tofu bites with a light, tangy sauce that tasted like the first bite of spring. He shook off droplets on his shoulders and
With the bloom of their romance came a new purpose. Arif invited Livu to join him in the development of the VCS. He showed her how to design environments, how to code the gentle sway of leaves, how to make the virtual wind feel real. Livu, with her linguistic flair, helped craft the dialogues of the characters that would wander the garden, giving them voices that sounded authentic and warm.
