1. Download the .upd or .bin firmware file.
2. Rename it to TS1012.upd (case-sensitive, exactly).
3. Copy to root of USB drive.
4. Power off scope. Insert USB drive.
5. Hold M button while pressing power button until “Updating…” appears.
6. Wait 2–3 minutes. Do NOT interrupt power.
7. Scope reboots automatically → verify new version in System Info.
