Bootloop: The TV gets stuck on the "Android" or "Smart TV" logo. Phase 1: Driver Installation

  1. Format USB drive as FAT32.
  2. Copy the .bin firmware file to the root directory.
  3. Power off the TV.
  4. Insert USB into TV’s USB port.
  5. Power on the TV while pressing and holding the VOL+ button on the TV (or using remote if required).
  6. The LED will blink – do not unplug. Update takes ~3–5 minutes.
  7. TV will reboot automatically when complete.
  8. Remove USB and perform a factory reset from the settings menu.

Phase 1: Driver Installation

  1. Disable Windows Driver Signature Enforcement (reboot with F7 → “Disable driver signature”).
  2. Run MTK_USB_Driver.exe as Administrator.
  3. Connect device (dead or off). Windows should show “MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port” in Device Manager → Ports.
