- Run the driver installer as Administrator. Right-click
TW256_xxx.exe> Properties > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode forWindows 8> OK. - During installation: Select “Network/TWAIN/WIA” when prompted. Even for USB, select this option.
- Reboot. The installer will add a “TOSHIBA e-STUDIO256 Scanner” device in
Devices and Printers. - Verify: Open
Windows Fax and Scan>New Scan. If the device dropdown shows “TOSHIBA e-STUDIO256 WIA”, the driver works.
