How PCSX2 handles save data
PCSX2 uses memory card files (e.g., memcard01.mcr/memcard02.mcr) that emulate PS2 memory cards. Each save slot within these files maps to individual PS2 game saves.
Save files from real PS2 memory cards can be converted to PCSX2-compatible formats and vice versa.
Different regional versions of Tekken 5 (e.g., JP, US, EU) may use different save data formats or offsets for unlocked flags; saves are sometimes region-specific.
Download MyMC (from GitHub or reputable source).
Open MyMC and load your Mcd001.ps2.
Click "Import" and select the downloaded .psu or .max save file (convert it first if needed).
Save the memory card.
Boot PCSX2. Your main memory card now has the unlocked Tekken 5 data.
