Stepmania Ddr — A20 Theme High Quality !free!
Overview of StepMania and Themes
StepMania is widely used by fans of rhythm games for its flexibility and the ability to play custom songs and dance on various simulated dance floors. One of its appealing features is the ability to customize the game's appearance through themes.
- Fix: Ensure your songs are placed in the
StepMania/Songs/ folder, not inside the Theme folder. The theme only controls the visuals, not the song library.
- Main menu: replicate A20’s layout and transitions—mode selection, profile select, online/offline indicators, and themed background loops.
- Song select: large banner art, difficulty radar, BPM display, meter chips, preview audio, and smooth left/right scrolling with parallax backgrounds.
- In-game HUD: judgment fonts (MARVELOUS/ PERFECT/ GREAT etc.), combo placement, score format, EX gauge or life meter styled like A20, hold/roll/slide indicators, and freeze timing visuals.
- Results screen: per-chart stats, detailed judgment breakdown, graphs (timing distribution), and replay/save options consistent with A20 presentation.
- UI animations: particle effects, animated transitions, and stage backgrounds that loop without popping; maintain a high-polish, neon/arcade aesthetic.
- Note skins: crisp arrow art, consistent hitbox visuals, and optional 3D-like glow or bloom effects for modern displays.
