SmartCarve 4.2 is a professional control and design software developed by GD Han's Yueming Laser Group

1. Configure layers for 3mm acrylic (cut at 15mm/s/75%, engrave at 400mm/s/25%).
2. File → Save As Template → “Acrylic_3mm.ecp”.
3. For new projects, open the template, delete artwork, and import new.

• Cut an outer contour (Red layer: 80% power, 20mm/s speed)
• Engrave a fill pattern (Blue layer: 40% power, 300mm/s speed)
• Score text (Green layer: 15% power, 150mm/s speed)

B. Compatibility

• File Formats: It primarily supports DXF (AutoCAD Drawing Exchange Format), AI (Adobe Illustrator), and BMP (Bitmap) files. While it can handle vector files, users often experience better stability converting designs to DXF before importing.
• OS Support: It runs reliably on Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 10 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, though driver installation on Windows 10 can sometimes require specific tweaks).
