• LGBTQ+ Culture: A diverse, global social movement and subculture that emerged from the oppression of sexual and gender minorities. It includes shared symbols (rainbow flag), spaces (community centers, pride parades), art (drag, queer cinema), and political advocacy for equal rights.
• Transgender Community: Individuals whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth. This includes trans men, trans women, non-binary, genderfluid, agender, and other gender-expansive identities. Crucially, being transgender is about gender identity, not sexual orientation.
