- Run
SETUP.EXE→ Install. - Reboot.
Step 5: Verify the installation In Device Manager, expand "Universal Serial Bus devices" or "Scanmatik Devices". You should see "Scanmatik 2 Pro" with no errors. Also check "PassThru" or "J2534" nodes.
- Right-click the port > Properties.
- Go to Port Settings.
- Click Advanced.
- Adjust Latency Timer: Change the latency timer from 16 ms to 1 ms. (Critical for stable flashing speeds).
- COM Port Number: Change to COM 1, 2, 3, or 4. Avoid high numbers (COM 9+), as older tuning software fails to recognize them.
- Click OK.
