Installation & first run (fast path)

  1. Extract the Archive: Right-click the zip and select "Extract All" to a folder like C:\PBS_Server or D:\Field_Tools\PBS. Avoid long file paths.
  2. Prepare Your Map Tiles: You need an MBTiles file or a tile folder. For example, use your_map.mbtiles.
  3. Place the Map Data: Put your MBTiles file inside the same folder as pbs.exe, or note its absolute path.
  4. Launch the Server:
