Vintage Classics (1960s–1980s)

• 0 Series: The original "bullet train." In OpenBVE, driving the 0 Series is a gritty, analog experience—manual vigilance control, limited visibility from the high cab window, and the distinct sound of DC traction motors.
• 100 Series: Features two-story dining cars (included in some route rolling stock packs). The cab includes more modern ATC indicators.
