Neoprogrammer 21 019 Ch341a Install May 2026
This hardware is widely used for flashing BIOS chips on motherboards and firmware on SPI flash memory. NeoProgrammer is a popular third-party alternative to the official software because it is more user-friendly and often requires no installation.
What is the CH341A Chip?
- Plug your CH341A into a USB port.
- Open Device Manager. You will likely see an unknown device or a device under "Other Devices."
- You need the CH341WDM.SYS driver. (These are often included in a "Drivers" folder inside the NeoProgrammer download, or available via the manufacturer's site).
- Right-click the device in Device Manager -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for drivers -> Point to the driver folder.
- Once installed, it should appear under USB Devices as "USB-EPP/I2C... CH341A".
This is a community-driven fork of the older AsProgrammer. It supports thousands of chips (SPI Flash, EEPROM, MCUs, and even 25 series BIOS chips), has a modern interface, and—most importantly—works reliably on Windows 10 and 11. neoprogrammer 21 019 ch341a install
