Report: Resolving the "Save Data Does Not Exist" Error in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Date: April 21, 2026
Issue: Game fails to recognize existing save files, prompting "Save data does not exist" on launch.
Platforms Affected: Primarily PC (Steam), but similar principles apply to PlayStation and Xbox.
- Launch game as admin.
- Disable Steam Cloud temporarily while testing.
- Ensure no program (CCleaner, OneDrive, antivirus) auto-deletes save folder.
- Go to Settings > System > Storage.
- Select "Clear local saved games."
- Note: Your console will restart. Don't panic—it only deletes the local cache, not the cloud save.
Fix #4: Xbox One / Series X|S (The Persistent Local Save)
On Xbox, the error usually means your local cache is out of sync with the Xbox Network. Report: Resolving the "Save Data Does Not Exist"
