The Maharashtra Civil Services (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1982 (महाराष्ट्र नागरी सेवा (जेष्ठतेचे विनियमन) नियम, १९८२) were originally notified on June 21, 1982, to standardize the determination of seniority for government employees in the state.
Direct Recruits: Seniority for direct recruits in a single batch is determined by their rank in the order of preference set by the selection board or commission, provided they join within 30 days of the appointment order.
महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील सरकारी कर्मचाऱ्यांसाठी ज्येष्ठता (Seniority) ही अत्यंत महत्त्वाची संकल्पना आहे. बढती, वेतनश्रेणी, आणि सेवेतील इतर अधिकार ठरवताना ज्येष्ठतेचा नियम लागू होतो. महाराष्ट्र शासनाने यासाठी 'महाराष्ट्र राज्य सेवा (ज्येष्ठता नियमन) नियम, 1982' लागू केले आहेत. हे नियम महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व गट 'अ', 'ब', 'क', आणि 'ड' मधील शासकीय कर्मचाऱ्यांना लागू होतात.
