- Pro tip: Start with 10x exp. 1x takes months; 100x ruins the loot economy.
- Java JDK (Version 8 or 11): L1J emulators are allergic to newer JDKs (17+ will crash). Use OpenJDK or Oracle JDK 8u202.
- MySQL Community Server (v5.7 or v8.0): For the database. Do not use MariaDB without testing; character encoding tends to break.
- Navicat or HeidiSQL: A GUI to peek inside your database tables.
