It examines the lyrical content, which is characterized by a unique blend of spiritual devotion and explicit socio-political satire. By analyzing the themes of vulgarity, social subversion, and religious fervor, this paper argues that the Bharani Pattu serves as a cathartic mechanism that temporarily inverts the rigid social order of Kerala society.
