7. Reset & Reconnect Procedure

  1. Disconnect USB and power.
  2. Uninstall iProg software and drivers.
  3. Restart PC.
  4. Reinstall drivers.
  5. Connect power to iProg first, then USB.
  6. Launch software → set COM port → connect.
  1. Device Manager → Ports (COM & LPT).
  2. Right-click your iProg device → Properties.
  3. Go to Port Settings tab → Advanced.
  4. Change the COM Port Number to COM1 (or COM2).
  5. Click OK. Restart the software.

4.1 Remove Faulty Driver

  1. Disconnect iPROG.
  2. Open Device ManagerViewShow hidden devices.
  3. Under Ports (COM & LPT), right-click any grayed-out USB Serial PortUninstall device.
  4. Also uninstall any Unknown device under Other devices.
