7. Reset & Reconnect Procedure
- Disconnect USB and power.
- Uninstall iProg software and drivers.
- Restart PC.
- Reinstall drivers.
- Connect power to iProg first, then USB.
- Launch software → set COM port → connect.
- Device Manager → Ports (COM & LPT).
- Right-click your iProg device → Properties.
- Go to Port Settings tab → Advanced.
- Change the COM Port Number to COM1 (or COM2).
- Click OK. Restart the software.
4.1 Remove Faulty Driver
- Disconnect iPROG.
- Open Device Manager → View → Show hidden devices.
- Under Ports (COM & LPT), right-click any grayed-out
USB Serial Port→ Uninstall device. - Also uninstall any
Unknown deviceunder Other devices.
