Install Classic Paint Windows 10
Microsoft replaced the classic Paint with Paint 3D in Windows 10. Many users prefer the original for its simplicity and speed. You can easily bring back the classic version using a few different methods. Why Bring Back Classic Paint?
- Click the Start button.
- Scroll down the app list to "Windows Accessories."
- Click the folder. If you see "Paint," right-click it and select "Pin to Start."
- If it is there, you are done! If not, move to Method 2.
- Note: If you see
mspaint.exe.mun, you cannot run this directly. You are looking for the standard.exeapplication file.
- If the old version opens: Great! Right-click your taskbar, pin it.
- If the new version opens: You need to restore the file manually.
The classic Paint app, also known as "mspaint," has been a staple of Windows since version 1.0. Its simplicity and ease of use made it a favorite among users for quick edits and creations. Note: This removes the modern app. To get it back later, simply visit the Microsoft Store and search "Paint." Microsoft replaced the classic Paint with Paint 3D
Close PowerShell and check the Start Menu for Paint. Click the Start button
