This is The Umbrelloid—a hybrid of Amanita muscaria (the classic toadstool) and human epithelial tissue. As it opens, it breathes. It has gills that look like the underside of a tongue.

This reconstruction leans into body horror, ecological decay, and the ambiguous nature of the hyperphallic form: it protects and endangers simultaneously.
