1. Place the salt grid plate inside the brine cylinder.
2. Do not add salt yet.
3. Pour in 10–15 litres of clean water into the salt tank (this is the initial prime).
4. Now add Harvey Block Salt or high-purity tablet salt – fill to about half the height of the tank.
5. Do not overfill past the top of the internal salt grid.
