Why Firmware Updates Matter

"Mature" vs. "Feature" Tags: Within the Fabric Management or Firmware & Registration menus, releases are labeled to help you choose between cutting-edge "Feature" releases or stable, bug-fixed "Mature" releases. Upgrading a firewall is more than a simple

  2. An active FortiCare contract (hardware + support) or FortiGuard Unified Threat Protection (UTP) subscription. Without this, the download button will be greyed out.
