If you have purchased a DVR-208G-F1 (likely a generic or unbranded H.264/H.265 security DVR) and are locked out, or if you are setting it up for the first time, you need the default login credentials.

: This must be 8–16 characters long and include a mix of uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Set an Unlock Pattern : You can draw a pattern for faster local login. Assign a Reserved Email

If labeled "H.View": Username admin / Password 123456
If labeled "Q-See": Username admin / Password admin
If labeled "Defender": Username admin / Password (blank)
No label / Generic: Username admin / Password 888888

If you set up security questions during activation, click the "Forgot Password" button on the login screen.
