Downloading and using custom Canon Picture Styles is a powerful, free way to get stylized JPEGs or "film-like" video straight from your camera without heavy post-processing. How to Download and Install

Method 2: Manual SD Card Installation (For field transfer)

1. Format your SD card in your Canon camera (to create the correct folders).
2. Eject the SD card and insert it into your computer.
3. Navigate to: DCIM -> CANONMSC (If this folder doesn't exist, create it).
4. Copy the .PF2 file onto the SD card's root directory or into the CANONPSE folder (depending on the camera age).
5. Reinsert the SD card. Go to Menu -> Picture Style.
6. Press the INFO button (on most cameras) to load a User Defined slot.
7. Select "Register Picture Style" and choose the file from the card.

1. Go to the Canon Picture Style site above.
2. Download .pf2 or .pf3 files (depending on camera).
3. Use Canon EOS Utility or Picture Style Editor to upload to your camera.
4. Or apply the style in Canon Digital Photo Professional (DPP) without uploading to camera.

1. Download and open Digital Photo Professional.
2. Open a RAW (.CR2, .CR3) file.
3. Go to the Raw tab at the top.
4. Click the drop-down menu next to "Picture Style."
5. Scroll all the way down to "Browse..." or "User Defined."
6. Load your downloaded .PF2 or .PF3 file.
7. The RAW file will instantly adopt the look. You can then export to JPEG.
