Should You Update? An Honest Verdict
- If your Cbox is for a dead/historical archive: No. Stay on V2. It works fine. But know it will be shut down in 2027.
- If you are an active community (more than 10 messages a day): Update immediately. The speed, security, and mobile support are worth the one hour of CSS tweaking.
- If you are a developer: Migrate your custom bots to the new V3 REST API. The documentation has been released on GitHub.
