CartCaddy 5W (and the similar CartCaddy 5WP ) is a heavy-duty, battery-powered electric cart mover designed by DJ Products, Inc.
- Never exceed the 1,500 lb tongue weight. The manual is clear: "Weight rating is for flat, smooth concrete. Reduce rating by 50% on gravel or grass."
- Keep hands clear of the linear actuator. When the caddy is powering up or down, the actuator arm moves with 800 lbs of force. Pinch points cause serious injury.
- Do not use on slopes > 15 degrees. The manual provides an inclinometer diagram. If you feel unstable, abort the move immediately. The braking system is not designed for steep hills.
