Botw Update 160 Work !!top!!
Here’s a quick guide to understanding and applying The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Update Ver. 1.6.0 (often referred to as “160” in shorthand).
Let’s address both.
So far, so good.
- Vanilla 1.6.0: Boots, runs, saves. Frame rates are identical to 1.5.0.
- FPS++ (by Xalphenos): Partially works. You’ll get 60+ FPS, but dynamic timing for physics (ragdolls, flying ragdolls, stasis launches) is subtly off. Some cutscenes desync.
- Clarity / Contrasty graphic packs: Work fine.
- Mods that edit the
Bootup.packorStatic.pack: Broken. Any mod that changes actor parameters (weapon durability, enemy health, inventory slots) will crash the game on load because 1.6.0 repacks resource tables. - Better Linkle, Second Wind, Relics of the Past: Do not update. These total conversion mods require 1.5.0.
- Infinite jump glitch (via shield surf cancels)
- Apparatus storage exploit (used to duplicate stats)
- Trial of the Sword sword clipping (partial fix) This made 1.6.0 less desirable for certain speedrun categories.
Testing results (Cemu 2.1 + Vulkan + Async Shaders): botw update 160 work
