If there is a saving grace, it is Ranbir Kapoor. Even in a film that is sinking, Kapoor commits to the bit with admirable energy. He is uninhibited, dancing with abandon and delivering dialogue with the flair of a seasoned mass-hero. He tries his hardest to elevate the crass humor and loud storytelling.
Babli (Ranbir Kapoor) is a charming, small-time car thief who lives in an orphanage. He steals cars to support the children but finds himself in trouble when he inadvertently steals a car belonging to the woman he loves, Tara (Pallavi Sharda).
